My Name is Moritz Roggentin. For 10 years I have been living in Essen, where i studied Industrial Design at the Folkwang University of Arts.
As a working student at KOMMERZ I found my passion for User Experience Design. Since then my main focus has been on the best solutions for user and customer.
At ROSE Bikes I came in touch with the idea of creating a marketplace for bike components and accessories. Unfortunately the system architecture didn’t allow for a viable solution at that time.
Depot showed me the other side of marketplace – being a seller on OTTO and AboutYou i learned a lot. Especially about product data and different marketplace models.
Since Beau, my Weimaraner, was already 8 as I joined Fressnapf, I was kind of an expert on dog commerce. So it felt just right setting up processes for pet-owners. Getting back on the Marketplace side was great and together with my previous experience it was natural to understand both sides, which helps creating processes which improve the cooperation.
2025 i got the chance to take over more responsibility and lead the project marketplace. Between automating processes between Fressnapf and the Marketplace Sellers and improving the “Marketplace Product” inside of the Fressnapf ecosystem I learned lots about documentation of processes, reporting to stakeholders and organizing a team.
